This Golden Globes beauty trend will be huge in 2017

After months of heavy contouring and sultry smoky eyes, the majority of Golden Globes beauty looks signaled a refreshing change: unreservedly pretty make-up.

Dominated by pastel shades (think soft, rosy pinks, silver-flecked shadow and touches of pale turquoise), the look is natural, radiant and works equally well on fair to dark complexions.

And unlike clown-style contouring, this is a look you can easily replicate at home. Take your cues from the stars who were a vision in pretty pastels below.

Emma Stone wore rosy lips and petal pink eyeshadow with a smattering of silver in the inner corners to set off her porcelain skin.

Claire Foy also accentuated her English rose looks, with glitzy pink eyes toughened up by jet black liner.

Hailee Steinfeld’s fairytale violet gown was set of by an equally dreamy approach to beauty, with pastel pink and purple shadow and soft pink lips.

Zoe Saldana’s natural beauty look is defined by pink lips to match the hue of her gown and a powdery pastel eyeshadow.

Mandy Moore presented a softer take on the blue eyeliner trend sweeping Hollywood, opting for metallic turquoise on her bottom lash line and a burnished pink on top.

Felicity Jones added silvery blue to her pastel make-up for the night.
