I have a beauty confession.
I don’t like manicures!
Don’t get me wrong. Nothing looks more groomed and finished than perfectly polished nails. And I admire girls who can keep it up. But to me nothing looks worse than chipped polish. So I’ve made a decision to stay naked and embrace clean, groomed, bare nails.

Like everyone, I’m pressed for time. I can never wait for them to dry properly. And by the time I’ve paid, reach for my keys, picked up my kids, done the shopping, changed a few nappies, cooked dinner, answered emails, washed up and walked the dog. They are chipped! And I can’t handle it – so off it comes immediately!
Gels and the other semi-permanent varieties I hear you say? I’ve done them all. And I don’t care what the experts say. My nails are never the same and don’t get me started on the lengthy and awkward removal process.

On the other hand (ha!) I am an absolute sucker for a pedi. They’re like a facial for my feet! For me – It’s the perfect multi-tasking down time. They last the distance and make me feel girly. I love experimenting with colours on my toes in ways that I wouldn’t on my hands.
