This time, she walked the runway 15 weeks pregnant, and we spoke to her before the show about how it was all going for her.

“I’m over that hurdle of horribleness, so I’m relieved. I feel like I’m finally human!” she laughed. “I had a difficult time during that first trimester, I spent most of it on the couch. But I’m really happy I’m past that stage and I’m feeling really excited.”

When asked about her favourite maternity styles, she said that she tended to favour long dresses. But during the show there was one style that pleasantly surprised her.

“During David Jones, having tried on a few other looks, I’ve noticed pleats are really good for pregnancy!”

While she had been doing lots of swimming and walking in preparation for the show, one thing she has been sad about putting on hold is her boxing, her ‘favourite kind of exercise of all time’.

“Something just starts clicking in. I hate being at the gym and just being on the treadmills, I like being able to interact with someone holding the pad, and getting really into that instinct and reaction part of my brain, and you just feel… strong. It’s amazing.”

She walked the runway alongside best friend Jessica Gomes, and former Miss Universe Australia Jesinta Campbell. She was excited to walk the runway pregnant and felt it sent a positive message about women’s bodies in fashion.
