Victoria Beckham’s Target Collection Is Already Making History And It’s Not Even On Sale Yet

A step in the right direction

Yesterday we finally got our first look at the entire collection for Victoria Beckham’s highly-anticipated Target collection and now it’s been revealed that her collection will be the first time the retailer will sell the collection in extended sizes both in store and online.

According to Allure it is the first time Target will stock plus-size items from a designer collaboration both in stores and online.

The extended sizes – and kids line – are also a first for the designer.

Victoria took to Facebook yesterday to share the first commercial and before you notice the clothes (and you *will* notice the clothes trust) you’ll notice the Spice Girls tribute.

The ad is set to the 1997 Spice Girls anthem ‘Spice Up Your Life’!

But once you can stop singing along and actually focus on the clothes, you’ll see a selection of looks from the 200-piece collection.

As for VB’s personal favourite piece form the collection? The Calla Lilly shirt and pants.

“There are lots of conversational prints, and a really energizing palette; color was very important for the collection, so we were very specific when picking fabrics,” the designer told Refinery29 of the collection.

“It’s been a dream of mine to do so for a long time; Harper’s been wearing the collection already, and she loves it.”

With prices ranging from $US6 to $US70 you’re going to want to contact friends/family/long lost pen pals in the US to jump on this when it hits US stores on April 9 – or you can try a forwarding service like ShopMate.
