In case you missed it, Bella Hadid stepped out on the Cannes red carpet in a red, Alexandre Vauthier dress with a thigh high slit last week. But the question on everyone’s lips was… where was she keeping her underwear under all this? The slit of the dress was not very forgiving so could have led to a disastrous wardrobe mishap.
However Bella Hadid’s stylist, Elizabeth Sulcer has since revealed the secret behind the dress – a built-in silk bodysuit. She told Vanity Fair about how it was designed: “The dress has a built-in silk bodysuit. Top-stick tape is always a good idea. Practice makes perfect.”
She also explained that the reason she thought Bella could wear the dress was because she was confident and beautiful enough. And she certainly did work it – go, Bella!
