The top five interior trends for 2016

Grey, Marble, subway tiles, pink and plants ... Which did you add to your home this year?

If you had to sum up the mood in interiors for 2016, ‘warm minimalism’ is probably the best way to accurately capture the soft, sophisticated and oh-so-slightly restrained wash of palettes that got the comfort treatment with lush textures and copper highlights this year.

Here’s some of our favourite looks that nailed this year’s best interior trends.

Plants are the easiest way to update your home.

1. Indoor plants

Green thumbs stand proud, this was the biggest trend we saw this year, and we liked it. There’s nothing easier than adding a pot plant to your home, and add them we did, because in 2016 the more plant life your home boasted, the better. Sure, it can be a challenge to keep them alive, but if you do, you’ll be rewarded with cleaner air and a more colourful home.
