You Can Now Buy Jackie Kennedy’s Holiday House

It’s suitably relaxed yet fabulous

File this under: dream home.

Jackie Kennedy’s gorgeous Hamptons holiday house from her childhood is on the market.

‘Lasata’, as the estate is called, was built in 1917 and was owned by Jackie’s family in the 1920s before being passed down to Jackie’s daughter Caroline Kennedy, who eventually sold the property in 2006 to fashion designer Reed Krakoff.

Featuring 10 bedrooms, one self sufficient guest house, another self-sufficient (and two-bedroom) pool house, and a huge, sprawling garden area, it truly is the kind of fantasy holiday home we all dream of.

And it can be yours for a cool $39 million and change.

While the price might be outside of even our fantasy income, everyone can still get a glimpse into the property and its pared-back, relaxed décor. With its gorgeous parquet floors, panelled cream walls and touches of yellow and green throughout, it looks like the perfect escape from the big smoke.
