Dance Moms Star Abbey Lee Miller Breaks Her Silence Following Prison Sentence

“I’m just going to pretend that I’m shooting a movie”

She was sentenced to one year and one day in prison for bankruptcy fraud and bringing $120,000 worth of Australian currency into the US without reporting it, but before she does her time, Dance Moms star Abbey Lee Miller has spoken on Good Morning America.

The reality TV star told the show she “wasn’t ever trying to hurt anyone” in response to claims she was attempting to hide cash from her creditors, Fox News reports.

She then revealed how she plans to spend her time in prison.

“I’m just going to pretend that I am shooting a movie, and we’re on set, and I am there for 10 months, and that’s the way it’s gonna be,” she said.

“A year and a day; it sounds like a movie title.”

Miller also revealed plans to learn Spanish while in prison and hone her businesswoman skills.

The clincher: “I am already working on a new book.”
