Harriet Wran could be released from prison by Spring after she was sentenced to four years in prison for her role in the fatal robbery of a Sydney drug dealer.
Wran, the daughter of former NSW Premier Neville Wran, was high on ice when she visited Daniel McNulty in August 2014 with her boyfriend Michael Lee and another man Lloyd Haines.
The trio were hoping to buy more methamphetamine, but the drug deal went wrong and Lee and Haines murdered Lee.
Today Wran was sentenced in the NSW Supreme Court to a minimum of two years in prison and a maximum of four years, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.

However, because of the time she has already served in prison, she will be eligible to apply for parole on August 13.
News.com.au reported that Wran cried and put her hands over her face after Justice Ian Harrison read out the sentence.
Justice Harrison said that Wran had been a “model prisoner” and had been drug-free since entering prison.
He told the court that “Drugs and drug addiction do not discriminate among different sections of the community” – a reference to Wran’s wealthy upbringing.
Throughout proceedings this morning, Wran’s mother Jill Hickson-Wran sat with her head bowed and her hands in her lap a few metres from her daughter in the public gallery.
During Wran’s earlier sentencing hearing, the 28 year old told the court that she suffered from deep regret.
“I feel terrible. I’m ashamed to have been involved in anything like that. I can’t believe someone died. I can’t believe someone was so badly hurt,” the court heard. “I regret every step I took that night”.
