Idris Elba has been busy getting fit and ready start his career as a professional kickboxer, and his latest shirtless photo shows off just how far his efforts have taken him.
The British actor has been sharing videos of his intense workouts on Instagram over the past several weeks, and it’s safe to say that he’s taking it very seriously.
But it’s the 43-year-old’s latest photo that proves the intense training is really working to his advantage.
The Luther star shared a post-sauna selfie on Instagram. Flexing his right bicep, Idris captioned the photo, “Cutting weight, two days before first fight, mind in the right place. Fear NO guy.”
Yes, post-sauna means shirtless and very sweaty.
The father-of-two definitely chose the right time to take an Instagram photo.
If his shirtless photo isn’t enough, Idris is starring in his own docu-series, Idris Elba:fighter, which will give fans a look into his year-long training regime.
The series is set to air next year.
