STOP EVERYTHING: Love Actually Is Getting A Sequel

With the full original cast!

This morning the news we’ve all been waiting for has been confirmed – Love Actually is coming back to our screens with the original cast.

The news was first announced by British broadcaster Emma Freund, who was told that director Richard Curtis is getting the film’s cast back together for Red Nose Day in the UK next month.

She took to Twitter for the big reveal…

She continued, adding that the story is still being written and that it won’t air until Red Nose Day.

People started pouring in their suggestions, with one user saying that James Corden should do carpool karaoke with Bernie Mac, who refuses to sing ‘Christmas Is All Around’.

Despite the fact that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently reminded us of Hugh Grant’s character in Love Actually, the 2003 film has not had any developments on the screen since. We can’t wait to see the updates on how everyone’s tracking since their happy endings…(and not so happy endings).

The short film will premiere on BBC 1 on March 24 in the UK, and will air on NBC in the US on May 25. We’ll be looking out for it on YouTube from then!
