Meet Ivanka Trump’s New Aussie Stylist

The First Daughter has hired this A-List Stylist

Ivanka Trump is a wife, mother of three, entrepreneur and a close advisor to the President of the United States. With such a busy schedule at her new West Wing office, it’s little wonder the First Daughter has outsourced her dressing duties.

The 35-year-old has reportedly hired Australian, Cat Williams, as her stylist.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Williams will help Trump put together “sleekly conservative, monochrome ensembles by designers Carolina Herrera and Oscar de la Renta.”

Williams studied at the University of Sydney and the FBI Fashion College in Glebe, and worked for a number of Australian fashion titles before moving to New York in 2014.

In New York, Williams worked with Micaela Erlanger – the celebrity stylist who dresses Meryl Streep, Lupita Nyong’o and Michelle Dockery – who also styled Trump at last year’s Met Gala.

Some of Trump’s fashion choices of late have been criticised. She was slammed when she wore a $USD10,800 gold bracelet from her own fine jewellery line on a 60 Minutes television interview.

And most recently, she received negative feedback when she posted a glamour shot of herself wearing a metallic silver evening gown on the same day that her father, President Trump, announced a controversial immigration policy in America.

Let’s hope Williams’ tenuous connection to the flawless Meryl Streep will rub off on Trump’s style.
