Salim Mehajer’s Makes Vicious Threats Against Wife And Family On Camera

Police are considering action over the footage

Former Deputy Mayor of Auburn Salim Mehajer could face serious consequences after videos which reportedly show him threatening his estranged wife, Aysha Learmonth along with her parents.

In the videos, that were believed to have been sent from Mehajer to his estranged wife after she moved out of their home, he can be seen yelling, “I hope you die you f*****g s**t.”

Another video then shows him allegedly threatening to kill her and rape her parents.

“Aysha, you’ve got five minutes to call me,” the former Auburn Council deputy mayor screams. “”Aysha, I hope you die, you sl*t … I swear on the Koran, I swear to Allah”.

The 30-year-old goes on to threaten her further as well as her parents.

“If you don’t call me in five minutes, I’m going to rape your mum, your mum and your f—ing dad. Call me now”.

A Current Affair aired the videos last night, and claim they obtained the footage from a “concerned friend”.

Mehajer, who had an AVO taken out against him by police on behalf of his wife in July, released a statement to Channel Seven following the airing of these vidoes.

“Aysha is a beautiful, warm, amazing individual, whom I believe was betrayed, or set-up by someone who supplied A Current Affair with these out of context videos to make a sensationalised story,” he said.

“I am totally disappointed that a well-known reporter can make a statement on TV and think it can hold any weight emotionally or seriously in the public forum.”

“No offence, the reporter needs to spend their time getting shaken up by the ‘real’ stories that need ‘real’ awareness, not by an individual yelling into their personal phone camera.”

Police are reportedly considering action over the footage.
