Kevin Hart took to Instagram this week to debut a new photo from the forthcoming Jumanji sequel, but there’s something wrong.
The photo in question shows our four heroes in the middle of the jungle seemingly dressed for a wild adventure. Well all except Karen Gillan, who’s dressed in short shorts and a crop top.
Fans were quick to call out the sexist ensemble.
“All the guys are dressed for the jungle, except the girl who’s dressed like she’s in the beginning of an adult film. If the girl’s going to dress like that, pass. I have two young girls,” one person commented.
Another added “I see a lot of mosquito bites in Karen Gillan’s future. Come on, a cropped top and shorts in the jungle? She’s just missing the heels and huge boobs to be the perfect picture of woman objectification.”
37-year-old Hart, was quick to share his excitement captioning the shot “Day 1 of shooting ”Jumanji” is officially in the can. We had an amazing first day. The chemistry & energy of our cast and crew was beyond amazing!!!! This movie is going to be dope as hell….Can’t wait to get back to work tomorrow @therock @karengillanofficial & jack black!!! #Jumanji”
