Congratulations are in order for TODAY Show host Sylvia Jeffreys and husband Peter Stefanovic who are expecting their first child together.

Last night, Jeffreys took to Instagram to share that the couple is “over the moon,” simultaneously revealing that they are having a baby boy.

Stefanovic also shared a post on his Instagram, writing in the caption: “Soon to be a family of three and we are rapt! Good thing I’m already match fit with the whole no sleep thing.”

Since the couple tied the knot in 2017, Jeffreys has faced plenty of pregnancy speculation, hitting back at publications in January for reporting on her “growing belly.” However, last month she was a little more coy when asked about the pressure to get pregnant by Kylie and Jackie O.

“Oh, that’s been happening from probably the first day of our honeymoon I think?” Jeffreys told the radio hosts. “You can’t really plan these things, can you? It happens when it happens.”

Jeffreys and Stefanovic met in 2014 when they were put together as hosts on Weekend Today over that summer holiday period and started dating soon after. “We sort of bumped into each other in a car park at Channel 9 one day before we started hosting together … I think it was pretty obvious, certainly was to everyone around me — my mum and my sister, in particular, knew that there was something there,” Jeffreys told the Sydney Morning Herald in 2016.

After getting engaged in mid-2016, the couple wed in April 2017 in a lavish ceremony in Kangaroo Valley, south of Sydney.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
