Which probably explains why on the 16th anniversary of the iconic cult movie 13 Going On 30, my appreciation and love for Jenna Rink’s outfit selection couldn’t be greater.
Speak to anyone who grew up in the early 2000s and it’s clear that Jennifer Garner’s character in the hit rom-com had a serious impact. The 2004 film tells the story of 13-year-old Jenna Rink, who wants nothing more than to be older than she is – namely, “30, flirty and thriving”. A wish we could all once relate to.
Navigating the world as both a 13-and-30-year-old at once, Jenna rights her wrongs and reunites with her childhood best friend Matt Flamhaff (Mark Ruffalo), all while wearing an incredible collection of outfits.
