19-Year-Old Stabbing Victim Identifies Suspects From Her Deathbed

She was left for dead on the side of a road

Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the killing of a 19-year-old woman in California after she identified them to police on her deathbed.

As ABC10 reports, 19-year-old Lizette Andrea Cuesta had been stabbed several times, dumped on the side of a road outside Livermore and left for dead.

According to a press release from the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office, Ms Cuesta had also sustained several other unspecified injuries.

The victim was flown to Eden Hospital and lost her fight for life about two hours after she was found.

But before she died, Ms Cuesta victim managed to tell investigators who she believed her attackers were.

“The last thing, that we believe, she was able to do was point us into the direction to the people that killed her,” Sgt. Ray Kelly with Alameda County Sheriff’s Office said.

As PEOPLE reports, the two 19-year-old suspects named by Ms Cuesta were questioned and arrested. Detectives are yet to comment on a motive for the killing.
