Public service announcement: rosé-flavoured chocolate exists, and it is just a mouse click away.
Yes, in news designed to instantly improve your wet, wintry Wednesday, we can report that an LA company is fusing two of our favourite things: rosé wine and chocolate.
The company in question, Compartes, promises that their Rosé Chocolate Bar is “infused with rosé wine” and “decked out in edible crystallised rose petals”.
The chocolate comes after the release of rosé-flavoured gummy bears last month. Not to mention the Yes Way rosé bags, and the fact that Brad and Angelina even have their own rosé wine brand (Chateau Miraval in case you’re wondering).
And if you think that sounds suspiciously like the beginning of a trend, then… you’re right. Earlier this year, Dan Murphy’s told The Australian that sales of rosé had grown between 200 to 300 per cent in the past 12 months.
