If you’ve exhausted all episodes of The Crown and consider yourself a royal tragic, here’s a TV movie that needs to be on your radar (like it isn't already!).
A Royal Romance, from US cable network Lifetime, will follow the fairytale courtship of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. We’ll witness their adorable first meeting in 2016, their secret dates, polo match visits and hopefully a marriage proposal over a roast chook.
Lifetime has announced Parisa Fitz-Henley and Murray Fraser as the actors picked to play Meghan and Harry, Vanity Fair reports.
Fitz-Henley recently starred as Luke Cage’s interest Reva Connors in Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, and has also appeared in The Girlfriend Experience and Midnight, Texas.
Fraser, who’s had roles in The Loch and Netflix’s Victoria, will probably do just fine as Harry with the help of some ginger locks.
So get the gin and tonics and finger sandwiches ready for one of the biggest royal events of the year (after the royal wedding and baby, of course).
Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance will debut in spring in the US.
