"She lost more weight. Everyone was like, ‘Is that Adele?!'" a source told E! News after Adele attended Guy Oseary and Madonna's Oscars after-party. "She wore a gold dress with tassels. It was a very ‘60s mod look with her hair and makeup. She looked incredible."
Later, Adele made an appearance at Beyoncé and Jay-Z's exclusive after-party at Chateau Marmont.
According to Vulture, celebs had to sign NDAs and there was a social media ban. Although that didn’t stop Polish TV host Kinga Rusin from sharing a photo with Adele.
Kinga revealed in her (translated) caption that she talked to Adele about “shoes” and commented on how Adele is “as slim as a comma now!”, guessing that she's lost 30kgs.
In the photo, Adele was dressed in a figure-hugging sparkly leopard-print dress from Ralph and Russo Couture’s FW19 collection that showed off her slim waist. Her hair was styled in an elaborate updo and she wore oversized hoop earrings.
The after-party's star-studded guest list included the Kardashian Klan (Kim, Kanye, Khloe, Kourtney, Kris, Kylie and Travis Scott), Charlize Theron, Leonardo Di Caprio, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Alba, Margot Robbie, and Reese Witherspoon - who posted a photo of herself pre-party with the caption: “Only @beyonce could get me out of the house past 11pm... #oscars 💫”
A source told E! News, "The theme of the party was also a representation of Houston and Brooklyn, where both Jay and Beyoncé are from. There were pool tables set up and it was made to feel like a dive bar."
"It wasn't overly extravagant and it seemed like they wanted everyone to feel casual."
At one point, Beyoncé grabbed the mic and sang a few lines and remixed ‘Brown Skin Girl’ and ‘I Care’.
"Everyone was dying over this and was jumping up and down loving it," shared the insider. "Beyoncé and Jay-Z definitely were putting on a show while playing their greatest hits. They took turns passing the mic while blasting their favourite songs from their hits."
