The singer comforted people and asked what she could do.

British singer Adele wasted no time getting down to Grenfell Tower yesterday, following the huge fire at the London apartment building which has claimed 17 lives, with numbers expected to rise.

According to the Telegraph, the pop star attended a vigil for the 12 confirmed victims of the fire, with reports from the scene saying she arrived without fanfare.

Adele was joined by her husband, Simon Konecki, with the pair seen asking what they could do to help and comforting upset residents and families of victims.

“Adele was spotted at Grenfell Tower today offering her support to everyone affected by the tragedy,” a fan wrote with a picture of the singer.

Another noted how nice it was that the visit wasn’t announced publically: “The fact that Adele has gone to Grenfell tower and not said a word about it just proves how amazingly sincere she is… Adele is an angel, she deserves heaven, biggest heart ever, so proud of her.”
