Childbirth is one of those things we all know can be loud, but for Alec Baldwin, he didn’t hesitate to let his wife, Hilaria know that she was being a little too loud.
Taking to Instagram earlier this week, the yoga instructor didn’t hold back, sharing the contentious details of her childbirth.
“Alec shushed me when I was in labor,” she wrote. “He was on the phone. ‘Shush! Can you keep it down?’ The moment he said it, he realized he sounded like an ass, and he cowered.”
Unsurprisingly, everyone was pretty eager to find out what happened afterward, so she followed it up with a short explanation.
“I permit him in after I got the epidural. I’ll spare you the details of my reaction for now. But it never happened again,” she wrote.
Despite the unflattering revelation, the pair are still happily married, with Hilaria showing she maintained a sense of humour through the ordeal.
“Kept the marriage. Went on to have 522 babies after,” she joked.
While the couple definitely don’t have 522 children together, they do have six. Carmen (8), Rafael (6), Leonardo (5), Romeo (3), Eduardo (1) and Lucia (9 months).
The pair have “no manual” raising their kids, as she explained on Instagram last month. “Sometimes, I just freeze, knowing I’m the adult who must guide my family, but so lost as to what the right direction is. … Sometimes I catch myself, surprised that I’m in the adult position, and I’m like, ‘Shouldn’t I know what to do?’”
In June of this year, Hilaria and Alec celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary. “Happily covering your mouth for 9 years now,” she captioned an anniversary tribute. “Love you and happy anniversary, mi vida.”
