The 73rd annual Venice Film Festival has kicked off and the high-profile guest list is as good as ever.
Alicia Vikander stolen the show at the premiere of her new film The Light Between Oceans, which she stars with Michael Fassbender – her real life love.
The Oscar-winning actress stunned in a dramatic layered black tunic and sequin dress with ruffled sleeves and hemline. Alicia is never afraid to take a fashion risk and it more than paid off.
However it was her beau, and the fact that this was their first red carpet that had everyone talking.
The pair fell in love on the set of The Light Between Oceans, a film about a couple who raises a baby they discover in a boat, and the consequences of this decision.
She looked equally as gorgeous in a flowing Prabal Gurung tie-dye dress at a photo call earlier in the day.
The actress is a definite contender for best dressed at this year’s Venice Film Festival.
