Amber Heard’s Ex Reveals She Was ‘Wrongfully Accused’ Of Domestic Violence

She has released a statement surrounding Amber's 2009 arrest.

News was released recently that Amber Heard was arrested for domestic violence against her ex, Tasya van Ree, in 2009. However Tasya has since spoken out in defence of Amber, claiming that she was ‘wrongfully accused’.

The altercation took place in Seattle airport, where Amber Heard grabbed Tasya van Ree’s arm. The prosecutor declined to file charges, however warned Amber that she could reconsider and refile within the two-year statute of limitation period.

Tasya and Amber currently have an amicable relationship, and Tasya has come out in Amber’s defence since the news has spread.

In a statement to Seattle police, Tasya said: “In 2009, Amber was wrongfully accused for an incident that was misinterpreted and over-sensationalized by two individuals in a power position.”

She went on to say: “It’s disheartening that Amber’s integrity and story are being questioned yet again. Amber is a brilliant, honest and beautiful woman and I have the utmost respect for her. We shared 5 wonderful years together and remain close to this day.”

Heard was granted a temporary restraining order against Johnny Depp for accusations of violence, and she is currently trying to get an early financial resolution for her divorce.
