If you enjoyed Amy Schumer’s hilarious take on feminism, dating and celebrity on Inside Amy Schumer, or rate her hit rom-com Trainwreck, we have another film that needs to be on your radar.
In I Feel Pretty, Schumer plays Renee, a woman struggling with insecurity and low self-esteem, whose entire outlook changes after a horror spin class accident. Suddenly, when Renee recovers and looks in the mirror, she sees a drop-dead gorgeous supermodel in her reflection.
Schumer stopped by Ellen to debut the trailer and provide some A-grade banter.
“In my mind, I [as Renee] am Gisele, I am one the Jenner-Kardashians, gorgeous,” Schumer told DeGeneres about her character.
“It’s a really funny and sweet movie that I think will make us all feel better,” the comedian added. “It made me feel better to play the role.”
The film is jam-packed with a bunch of funny people, including Michelle Williams, Emily Ratajkowski, Rory Scovel, Aidy Bryant and Busy Philipps.
