Angelina Jolie is moving on following her divorce from Brad Pitt after two years of marriage in 2016.
The actress and director might be dating again according to reports, however sources close to Jolie stress that the new relationship is “nothing serious.”
“Brad and Angie are both very secretive about their dating life. Angie has told some friends she isn’t ready to date, but she has been seeing a handsome, older-looking man who is a real estate agent,” the source tells Entertainment Tonight. “He isn’t a celebrity or high profile in any way.”
Angie was in a very bad place after [her] split [from Brad],” the source adds. “Just having another adult to spend time with has been helpful.”
The 42-year-old previously discussed her health battle with Bell’s Palsy following the divorce. “Sometimes women in families put themselves last,” she told Vanity Fair in July last year. “Until it manifests itself in their own health.”
But don’t expect the couple, who share custody of their six children to get back together. “People talk about them reuniting, but it will never happen,” the source tells ET. “Things between Brad and Angie really ended poorly, and while they’ve attempted therapy with the [six] children [they share], they can barely be in the same room together.”
However, immediately after news broke that Jolie might be seeing someone, an anonymous source shot down the rumours to People.
“She is absolutely not seeing anyone and will not be,” they said. According to this source, dating is not a primary focus for Jolie right now.
“She will focus only on their children and being with them,” they added. “She has no interest in dating at all.”
Earlier this month, she took her two oldest daughters, Zahara, 13, and Shiloh, 11 to the 45th Annual Annie Awards at Royce Hall in Los Angeles.
