Yesterday, Anna Faris was labelled ‘ex-goals’ following the announcement of Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger’s engagement.
Taking to Instagram to announce the news, Pratt wrote, “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
Faris swiftly commented, “I’m so happy for you both. Congratulations”

Now, on her Unqualified podcast out today, Faris expanded on her genuine joy about the news and how Pratt kept her updated on the proposal.
“Sweet Chris, my ex, got engaged to Katherine today, and I’m so happy for them,” she started her podcast. “I knew it was going to happen, and I love her, and I love him, and I’m just so happy they found each other. I so subscribe to the idea of expanding family and love and with [Pratt’s and my son] Jack. She’s awesome.”

Faris also added that she’s happily off the market, dating cinematographer Michael Barrett.
“I’m in a relationship,” she confirmed.

Faris went on to explain that Chris told her and confirmed the proposal when it happened.
“Chris texted me this morning and he was like, you know, ‘I proposed to Katherine last night.’ And I was like ‘Ah! That’s amazing.’And I texted him back, Like ‘Just want to remind you, I’m an ordained minister.'” She joked later that “I’m not very good at it.”
Faris stressed that “there’s no bitterness” in any of this, that she was just talking about it on her podcast because she wanted to open and transparent. Schwarzenegger and Pratt are “awesome” people to her, and she’s truly happy.
