Anna Heinrich Responds To Rumours She And Tim Robards Have Split

They've been living separately since March

They met on season one of The Bachelor Australia in 2013 and have been together ever since, but over the past few weeks speculation has been rife about the state of Anna Heinrich and Tim Robards’ marriage.

The pair, who married in Italy last year, have been living separately since Tim secured a role on Neighbours and relocated to Melbourne in March, while Anna stayed on in Sydney – something that didn’t sit well with Anna’s Trial By Kyle co-host, Kyle Sandilands. While appearing on The Project, Kyle said he’d asked Anna why she’s not living with Tim, saying, “Do you know what — this morning I had her on my radio show. I said, ‘What’s the go with your husband living in Melbourne trying to be an actor on Neighbours?’ She said he signed for a year.”

He continued: “I said, ‘I feel there’s trouble.’ She said, ‘No, no, there’s no trouble.’ Watch that space! Something is going on.”

The rumours only intensified when it was revealed that the couple weren’t staying together while Anna was in Melbourne for the Melbourne Cup: Tim stayed at his apartment, while Anna was put up in a hotel, likely due to work commitments over the weekend.

“I’m not in a hotel (with Anna) because Monday to Friday I live down here, but she is only here for a couple of days,” Tim explained to the Daily Mail.

But clearing up the rumours, Anna told The Morning Show that she and Tim are thankfully “better than ever.”

“When you’re confident in your relationship it doesn’t matter what people say,” she told co-hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies. “Tim and I, we’re like better than ever.”

“He lives in Melbourne, that’s a fact, I’m not going to see him majority of the week. He comes back on the weekends (to Sydney) and I was at the races there and I had to work so I probably didn’t see him majority of the time, but we’re definitely still together.”

She went on to say that the “rubbish” reports don’t affect her, but that it’s annoying to have to “justify [our] relationship because we’re so happy, we really are.”
