Anne Hathaway has never been one to shy away from a bold hair transformation – from platinum blonde to shaving it off completely – and she regularly likes to mix up her ‘do.
Her newest look however is one that we’ve never seen before on the Oscar-winning actress – and we have to admit we’re kind of loving it.
Anna was snapped rocking her fiery new locks on the streets of New York City, where she was on the set of her new film, The Last Thing He Wanted in Puerto Rico.
The bold new look is believed to be for the film, and it’s not the first time Anne has changed-up her look for a role.
In 2012’s Les Miserables she famously shaved all her hair off to portray Fantine in the award-winning film.
“I wasn’t expecting it to be such a big deal, because it was my idea,” she said on Live! with Kelly at the time.
“It was something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and I knew it was something the character did, so I just offered it to the director and he said ‘Yes.’ As it got closer, I thought: I can’t really take it back now.”
And she admits when it came time to actually do it, it was much harder than she anticipated.
Sounds like dying her hair red is a walk in the park then…
