As first reported by Entertainment Tonight, alongside the original, now-deleted image showing the palm of Grande’s hand, the singer wrote, “This felt super good…jk (everyone thinks this is a fake hand but it’s indeed….my hand.”
In response to a fan who called out the error, she wrote in a since-deleted tweet, “Indeed, I left out “つの指” which should have gone in between. It hurt like f—k n still looks tight. I wouldn’t have lasted one more symbol lmao. But this spot also peels a ton and won’t last so if I miss it enough I’ll suffer thru the whole thing next time.”
Then she joked, “also…huge fan of tiny BBQ grills.”
This isn't Ariana's first tattoo for the month of Jan. The Thank U, Next singer unveiled a tattoo of her favourite Pokémon character Evie earlier this month. Posting just a photo of the black-and-white cartoon illustration which is located on the inside of her arm with the caption: “I’ve wanted this for so long.”
According to Ariana’s Twitter page, she has been spending lots of time playing Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! on her Nintendo Switch.
We can’t help but feel pangs of nostalgia for our Gameboys and trading cards after glimpsing the singer’s new tattoo. While, admittedly, you have to have been in school during the late 90s and early 2000s to understand the gotta catch ‘em all hysteria, we have a feeling this tattoo trend is about to take off.
