With the coronavirus pandemic forcing many of our beloved events to be scaled-back, or cancelled altogether, we were thrilled to tune into the 2020 ARIA Awards this Wednesday evening, albeit, with a socially-distanced twist.
This year, the night of nights for the Australian music industry was live-streamed to not just the country, but even to some of the esteemed guests.
Despite no live audience and no official red carpet, excluding the artists who performed, the show still went on without a hitch, with host Delta Goodrem nailing the gig.
Since many of the usual suspects joined in on the evening from their own at-home lockdown viewing parties, tracking all the best fashion moments was a little different to ogling the parade of glitzy gowns freely piling up on the red carpet, as we do every other year.
Instead, like the recent MTV VMAs, there were just a handful of red carpet moments, and plenty of… living room carpet snaps—still equally as glammed up as expected.
