It’s official: Victoria’s Secret model Sara Sampaio is the reigning queen of Cannes. The bombshell brunette has turned heads every time she’s touched the La Croisette red carpet, but it’s her stunning red lip, white gown combo that has really got everyone talking.
Word must have got to celebrity make-up maven Charlotte Tilbury, because she’s taken to Instagram to talk us through Sampaio’s exact beauty look. If you’ve been lusting after that ruby red lip, you’re in luck.

Sampaio’s look was created using purely Charlotte Tilbury products, but celebrity MUA Vincent Oquendo was the make-up artist on the job (although with Sampaio in the chair, he hardly had his work cut out for him).
Oquendo, who is pretty much the make-up artist of Cannes (he’s painted the faces of everyone from Lily Collins to Elsa Hosk for the film festival), prepped Sampaio’s skin with the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial sheet mask (read our review here) before moisturising with Magic Cream.
He then applied Charlotte TIlbury Magic Foundation in both shades 4.5 and 5, followed by the Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette.
For eyes, he used Rock ‘N’ Kohl eyeliner in Bedroom Black, Eye Cheat and finished with Full Fat Lashes mascara.
But onto those lips. The lipstick is Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in, fittingly, Red Carpet Red – a “true ruby red matte lipstick” according to the website (for the record, we’re equally obsessed with the Lost Cherry shade).
