Kim Kardashian hit the 2017 Met Gala red carpet earlier today looking quite different to how we’re used to seeing her.
The reality TV star chose to wear a white off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood gown to the themed event, which she attended without her husband Kanye West.

The look is much more of a minimalist approach to previous years and echoes Kim’s statements on the Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this week, where she said she isn’t as materialistic as she used to be.
“I was definitely materialistic before, not that there’s anything bad with having things and working hard to get those things. I’m really proud of everyone around me that’s successful.”
“But I’m so happy that my kids get this me, that this is who I am raising my kids. I just don’t care about that stuff anymore,” she said.
