The Biggest Cause Of Anxiety In Brides Isn’t What You’d Expect

But it makes so much sense

Pre-wedding nerves are nothing new – as any bridesmaid knows, the term ‘bridezilla’ hasn’t made its way into common parlance for nothing – but the root of the problem, as it turns out, is actually quite hilarious.

A new study shared with Harper’s Bazaar UK reveals that the most common cause of anxiety for brides is the bridal waltz. We totally get it – do you have a dance choreographed or go improv? Sappy song or upbeat? Jazz hands or no?

Hen Party Superstore surveyed over 1100 women for the report and found that the second biggest concern was the weather, followed by how they would look in photos and how they would look in their dress. And, you know, how their marriage might work out.

The survey also asked men for the root of their pre-wedding jitters, and – we love this – discovered that for most, it’s fears that the best man’s speech might land them in serious trouble. Note to all guys: it’s a wedding – NOT a 21st.
