While there’s no doubt we *love* Love Actually, the story line where Mia (Heike Makatsch) stops at nothing to sleep with her married boss Harry (Alan Rickman) has got to be our least favourite. And Mia, arguably the film’s most hated character.

But Heike Makatsch, the 45-year-old actress who played the on-screen seductress, is a far cry from her character in real life.
For starters she looks nothing like her. In real life the actress who hails from Dusseldorf, Germany, is actually a blonde.

Before landing the role in Love Actually Makatsch had starred as Dr Lisa Addison in Resident Evil and has since gone on to star in The Book Thief and currently stars on TV series Capelli Code.
She also dated James Bond himself, Daniel Craig for seven years, but these days she is a mother of two daughters with her musician partner Max Martin Schroder.
