21-year-old Sara Zelenak from Brisbane was separated from her friend when the white van crashed into pedestrians on London Bridge and chaos broke out.

Her friends and family havenโ€™t heard from her since and there are huge concerns for her safety.

โ€œI ran thinking she would be running with me but I looked back and she wasnโ€™t there,โ€ friend Pri Gonรงalves recalls.

The pair had been out for dinner when they heard the crash, Pri says they walked a few steps to see what had happened when they heard people screaming.

โ€œPeople started running and shouting โ€˜runโ€™. At that moment I got scared and desperate so I ran,โ€ Pri told Fairfax Media.

โ€œSara was with me when people started running and shouting but at that very moment we got separated.โ€

Since the attack Sara hasnโ€™t answered her phone and she hasnโ€™t checked her WhatsApp since 10:03pm on Saturday night.

โ€œI thought I was going to die, it was by far the most traumatising, shocking and scariest moment of my life,โ€ Pri recalls.

โ€œIโ€™m feeling terrible and scared of crowded places, [of] people and of the tube. I canโ€™t be alone and what makes this worse is to know that Sara was with me when [she went] missing.

โ€œPlease help, I just want to find her, she is an amazing person and itโ€™s just not fair that something bad might have happened to her. I wasnโ€™t able to help her and itโ€™s killing me.โ€

Saraโ€™s picture has now been shared over 500 times as family and friends try to find out what happened to her that night.
