Barely any baby speculation – the inevitable lot of any woman in the public eye – had begun when Kensington Palace announced the news that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were expecting – but there was one major clue the world missed.

As 7 News reports, last week UK bookmaker Coral abruptly shut down bets on whether or not Kate Middleton was pregnant. Not long after, British bookies started odds on baby names for Kate and Will’s next bub.
“We have opened betting on the gender of the third child where boy is the favourite, while we have taken bets on Kate giving birth to twins and triplets,” Coral’s John Hill has said in a statement.
7 News reports that Irish bookies Paddy Power have the name Alice with odds at 8-1, Victoria (also a hot favourite before Charlotte was christened) at 8-1 and for boys’ names, both Arthur and Henry at 10-1.
