Asher Keddie stunned on the pink carpet tonight at Prix de marie claire in a kaleidoscopic lace and sequin Romance Was Born gown.
“I saw this dress and thought, ‘oh my gosh, why wouldn’t you wear that?’” she gushed. “I have wanted to wear Romance Was Born for so long, and tonight felt like the perfect moment.”
Tonight, as marie claire celebrates Australian fashion’s finest, Keddie finally had the chance to meet the creative masterminds behind her gown, Romance Was Born design duo Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales.
“I’ve never met them before, so I’m really excited to meet them,” she told marie claire. “They’re not afraid to put something really creative and artistic out there and the truth is, when any designer does that, people really embrace it.”
