3. Next up came Ali and Grant, who despite all the declarations of love, and exchanging commitment rings and talk of babies and moving to LA, just couldn’t go the distance. If you were watching, you could literally see the actual moment Ali’s heart broke and you knew they weren't going to make it. But onwards and upwards because after the show they announced Ali as the next Bachelorette.
4. Then came Sam and Tara. The show’s resident goofballs got super-serious and then in the season's worst-kept secret, Sam dropped to one knee and pulled out an engagement ring and popped the question. Needless to say they're still together.
