Bachelor In Paradise’s Glenn Smith and Alisha Aitken-Radburn have become the shining example that you can find love in Paradise, and while the finale showed the pair declaring their love for one another – the road after wasn’t quite as smooth.
After the finale aired on Sunday night, rumours began circulating that the two actually split before eventually reuniting a few weeks later.
Cheating allegations surfaced which claimed Glenn had kissed fellow Bachelor In Paradise co-star Helena Sauzier while on a night out after returning home from Fiji.
Speaking to Hit 107 Adelaide’s Bec, Cosi and Lehmo the 32-year-old confirmed the speculation was true.
“Look, I’m not going to deny it. It actually did happen,” Glenn said. “Me and Alisha worked through it at the time. That was nine months ago…and it’s not really relevant now,” adding, “Our relationship looks perfect [on Bachelor in Paradise] but it’s a real relationship and mistakes get made, but we worked through it.”
“We’re both real people, we’re both human, and mistakes were made. As adults who really love each other, we communicated and really worked through it and that’s why we’re here nine months later,” he finished.
Alisha also responded to the incident, revealing that the couple managed to work through the difficult time.
“I was hurt at the time and my hurt manifested in a way that wasn’t healthy either and in a way I wasn’t proud of,” the reality star explained. “We had some really deep conversations, possibly conversations a lot of people in relationships don’t have. I think it’s really been the reason why we’re so strong today.”
Before the couple confirmed they were together, the So Dramatic! podcast first speculated on the cheating rumours.
“Glenn was at a bucks party in Perth, and met up with Helena at a club and they ended up kissing a couple of times that night,” host Megan Pustetto said.
It then went on to say Alisha then “hooked up” with another BiP co-star, Scott Fuller, before she and Glenn “called it even.”
The couple are now living together in Western Australia.
