Bachelor In Paradise star Leah Costa has taken to Instagram to share some heartbreaking news, that’s right she and Big Brother star Anthony Drew have broken up.
Only a month after reports surfaced that the TV stars were dating, Costa has shared a long explanation about how their relationship broke down.
Life is hard and sometimes life is cruel. Sometimes you’re lucky enough to find the person that is everything you’ve ever been looking for and more, only to discover that they are broken inside and no matter how much of yourself you give or how hard you try, or even how much you love them, and how happy you seem to be, it will somehow never be enough and they will still be searching for something more,” Costa shared.
Before farewelling her short-term lover, writing: “You made me happier than I knew I could feel but have broken my heart in a way I didn’t know it was possible, @drewanthony_ I hope you find whatever it is your looking for.”
But the star was not done with her emotional rant, shortly after Costa took to her Instagram story to claiming Drew used her for ‘fame,’ and declaring she was insulted after he labelled their romance as ‘casual.’
Later she shared screenshots from a conversation she had with Drew.
“Anyone wondering why I put up that picture of Drew and I and why we broke up, basically, we were super happy until I got that media backlash,” she said, in reference to the fake engagement ring scandal.
“Basically, he only dated me because I had a media image and he wanted to get his face back out there and when it turned negative, he didn’t want to be involved with it anymore.
“And to call it casual is probably the nastiest thing anybody had ever said.”
Drew, now a model, revealed to Daily Mail that he was happy seeing Leah until she received some backlash over hinting she was engaged.
“We were casually seeing each other and I made it unequivocally clear that I wanted to stay out of the media,” he told the publication.
