We all know that it’s never a good idea to get involved with an ex’s Instagram fresh from a breakup, but apparently Angie Kent has learned the hard way.
With news of her and Carlin Sterritt’s recent breakup, many fans speculated a potential reunion between the Bachelorette and her runner up, Timm Hanly.
And now, in an interview with The Daily Telegraph, Timm has revealed that Angie did indeed reach out to him via Instagram post-breakup, offering the 27-year-old an olive branch of friendship.
Timm however, who confirmed that he is now back with his ex-girlfriend Brianna De La Motte, rebuffed the offer, claiming that he didn’t see potential for any kind of relationship.
“She slid into my DMs but I just said, ‘Look, I don’t think we are going to be friends’,” he said.
“She said she hoped we might be friends and sh*t after her and Carlin broke up. I was just like, ‘Whatever, relax love’”.
The reveal comes after Angie publicly accused “98%” of her season’s suitors of only applying for The Bachelorette with the intention of getting on Bachelor In Paradise.
When pressed for comments on Ciarran Stott’s behaviour on the show, Angie stated that had she known sooner, she “would’ve sent him and his hype man home second episode”.
Many believe that she was referring to Timm Hanly as the ‘hype man’ since he’s been obstinate about rushing to Stott’s defence this season of Bachelor In Paradise.
It doesn’t seem like there’s any love lost between the pair so a reconciliation seems like a stretch…
