GQ magazine just bestowed stunning supermodel and Instagram queen Bella Hadid with the ‘Hugo Boss Model of the Year Award’.
Bella wowed on the red carpet at the event in London where she accepted her award.
Wearing a custom off-the-shoulder gown by Hugo Boss and dazzling diamond necklace, the 19-year-old says she was “having a heart attack a little bit”, as she accepted the award.
“This is crazy. I’ve worked really hard it’s crazy to be recognised.”
Bella also gave a touching tribute to her mother, Yolanda Foster, who accompanied her to the awards.
“This is the first time my mum has been out of bed in four years and got her hair and make up done and I’m so happy she’s here.”.
So far this year, the 19-year-old American beauty has debuted for Chanel during Paris Fashion Week, graced the cover of every magazine imaginable and was even announced as the new ambassador for Dior Makeup.
This won’t be Bella’s first time taking out the coveted title of ‘Model of the Year’, in fact; the dark haired, blue-eyed runway star took out the same title earlier this year at the Daily Front Row’s Fashion awards.
Ranked amongst older sister Gigi and BFF Kendall Jenner as one of the Top 50 models for this year, it’s fair to say 2016 might just be ‘The Year of Bella!’
The annual award ceremony also presented everybody’s favourite stand-up comedian Amy Schumer with ‘Woman of the Year’ and Poldark’s smoldering leading man Aidan Turner with ‘Television Actor of the Year’.
