In the latest Dr Seuss movie, everyone's favourite Brit will be playing everyone’s favourite Christmas cynic, on his mission to steal Christmas.
Cumberbatch has said being asked to play the infamous Christmas villain was a surprise, "I think it's such an iconic American role and something I was surprised to be asked to do, and that's a good thing in an actor's life when you're surprised by an offer."
Unlike Jim Carey’s 2000 live-action film How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the Doctor Strange actor will be lending his voice to play the grumpiest grouch in all of Who-ville this festive season in the new animated film.
