This pop-art inspired collection from designer Christian Siriano was full of vibrant shades of aqua, mint, fuchsia, silver, navy and marigold. The painted eye looks were set with sparkles and glitter, glossy lips and a paired back face.
Makeup artist Tom Pecheaux created a laid-back, bronzed and functional beauty look to compliment the beach-inspired runway theme. The models wore a touch of black eyeliner, slight sparkles the eyelids, strong eyebrows and faux freckles.
Set within your local flower market, Kate Spade's runway show featured monochromatic beauty looks consisting of rosy cheeks and pink, glossy lips or brushed brows and a sleek winged liner. Lead hairstylist James Pecis worked with the different hair textures of the diverse cast of models, lining the runway with a series of pulled back ponys, loose waves and updos.
Here, the makeup artist played with different shapes and textures to create a diverse collection of eye looks in the same custom shade of pistachio. The rest of the face was kept colourful with pink blush and glossy lips. The beauty look complimented a lively collection full of pattern and colour, drawing inspiration from African designs and artists.
Neon eyeshadow was also the feature of the Helmut Lang show, this time in a severe cat eye flick. Dense colour blocks in fluorescent yellow, pink, green and blue lit up in the runway in Lang's minimalist take on punk culture. The eye lashes were curled with little or no mascara to place all the emphasis on the eyelids.
In their 10th anniversary show, Chromat created an empowering collection filled with blue and green neon colours. The vibrant and coordinated eye makeup reimagined looks from past collections to celebrate their anniversary. Make up artist Keri Blair used a range of MAC products to create bold lips, lines and dots.
Scott's SS20 show was a mash up of metallics, 80s prints, sequined suits and shoulder pads. The beauty look created by makeup artist Kabuki reflected the clothes, consisting of an outrageously wide cate eye, pink lipgloss and shiny cheeks. The 80s aesthetic was alive and well in the hair, as pink, blue, orange and purple wigs made their way down the runway. Hair stylist Eugene Souleiman used an old-school crimping iron to create the cartoonish, textured finish.
Pat McGrath created 61 different makeup looks special to each model at Marc Jacobs' NYFW show."Not one girl or boy or person will look the same," McGrath explained.
