There’s A Beyonce And Jay Z Themed Bar Now Open In Sydney

Adele's band even partied there on the weekend.

Members of the Beyhive rejoice! A new bar dedicated to the glory of Beyonce and Jay-Z has recently opened in Sydney.

The Carter launched in Australia at the beginning of 2017 and features murals of the famous pair adorning the walls, food menu items inspired by lyrics, and cocktails named after other pop culture icons like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

It’s already making waves, hosting Adele’s band from her shows over the weekend.

Chady Khouzame, General Manager at The Carter, Sydney, told us that he drew a lot of inspiration from the entrepreneurial nature of these artists.

“Jay-Z and Beyonce are cultural icons, entrepreneurs and creative geniuses who continue to push the boundaries with their art. Themselves, along with Kanye West, have been a continual source of inspiration to my friends and I.”

When it comes to the food at the bar/restaurant, Khouzame says there are two things you’ve got to try.

“The two most popular items on my menu are the Cheesy Hush Puppies, and The Carter Chicken Wings with Beyonce’s Hot Sauce (taken from a line from one of my favourite Beyonce tracks ‘Formation’).”
