The star of the show is undoubtedly the impeccable Tiffany Diamond. Amongst being one the most important gemstone discoveries of the 19th century and weighing a modest 128.54 carats, the diamond was also featured in Breakfast At Tiffany’s alongside Audrey Hepburn, and was worn by Lady Gaga to the 91st Academy Awards.
The cushion-cut diamond features 82 facets and was unearthed in 1877 in the Kimberley Mines of South Africa. The jewellery brands founder Charles Lewis Tiffany, purchased the stone the following year, with it being set into a necklace in 2012 to celebrate Tiffany & Co.’s 175th anniversary.
The brands latest 'About Love' campaign marks the first time that Beyoncé and Jay-Z have starred in a campaign together — and what a debut.
As part of the partnership, Tiffany & Co. is also pledging $2 million towards scholarship and internship programs for historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
