When Beyoncé posted the first photo of her newborn twins on Friday, both confirming their names and birthday, the world, naturally, totally lost the plot.
However, Bey's announcement, while glorious, was also pretty confusing. The singer wrote, "Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today."
Leaving us to question whether Sir's name is 'Sir Carter' or 'Sir Carter Carter' and while we're at it, whether Rumi even has a last name?!
Thankfully, Bey's mum, Tina Knowles, has shed some light on the name situation while confirming that the twins are a boy and a girl.
"So Happy my baby shared a photo of her babies with the world ❤️❤️❤️ proud grandma hello Sir Carter and Rumi Carter❤️🙏🏾❤️ 7/13/2017 Boy and girl what a blessing," she wrote on Instagram.
Tina also revealed that the girl, Rumi, is named after the 13th-century poet Rumi.
Now, the twins' birth certificates have been obtained, revealing more details about the newborns.
The certificates – obtained by PEOPLE - reveal the Carter twins were born on Tuesday, June 13, at 5:13 a.m. at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The girl, Rumi, arrived first, followed by brother, Sir. Both were delivered by OB/GYN Dr. Paul Crane, who also delivered Kim Kardashian's children, North and Saint.
Now we wait for more photos of these famous two youngsters.
