The Black Eyes Peas have united once again to re-make their 2003 hit ‘Where Is The Love?’ because 13 years on and so many world tragedies later, people are wondering just that.

The BEP band members, including Fergie, Will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo, have joined forces with a number of celebrities including Justin Timberlake, Jamie Foxx, Jessie J, Usher, A$AP Rocky, Jaden Smith, DJ Khaled, Cassie, Mary J. Blige and Nicole Scherzinger for the track’s vocals.

Will.i.am explained why the band made the decision to re-make their hit. “I remember when the attack in Paris happened, people would say, ‘We need ‘Where Is the Love?’ again,'” he says in the new film clip.

“And then Belgium happened. And then Turkey. And then Orlando,” the singer continues. “And then Philando. Alton before him. Then Dallas. Everyone was calling on us like, ‘We need that song again.'”

The film clip for the song includes family members of those affected by gun violence, as well as the familiar faces of Kendall Jenner, Vanessa Hudgens, Snoop Dogg, Shailene Woodley and LL Cool J.

Proceeds from the re-make of “Where Is The Love?” will go to will.i.am’s charity i.am.angel, which funds educational programs and college scholarships.
