Yesterday the internet did a collective ‘noooooo’ when Blake Lively deleted all her photos on Instagram. But what about All the cute pics, witty captions and flirty Ryan Reynolds banter??
Despite removing all posts, the account still remains active, however things got even more strange as she now only follows 36 accounts – all of which have the name Emily Nelson.
And her bio reads, ‘What happened to Emily?’
WHAT IS GOING ON? Did she get hacked? Is she having an insta-meltdown, is Ryan Reynold’s pulling off his most epic troll yet?
Well, our friends on the internet have done some digging, and it seems Blake’s new movie is a film called A Simple Favor, in which she plays a character named, you guessed it: Emily Nelson.
The film also stars Anna Kendrick, and is about a girl, Emily (played by Blake) who goes missing and her friend who tries to find her. The duo are currently doing promo for the film so it seems like it’s all just a big publicity stunt.
Hmm.
